etchall® dip ‘n etch

etchall® dip ‘n etch is a re-usable etching liquid with the consistency of water. Use by “dipping” (submerging) glass objects to create an overall etched surface. Can be used with etchmask stencils and etchall® resist gel  to create beautiful designs.

  • Use on: glass, mirror, ceramic, porcelain, marble, or slate.
  • Re-usable: Yes
  • Disposal: Will not harm plumbing. Flush with plenty of water.
  • Caution: Will etch porcelain sinks and tubs. Neutralize with water and baking soda before disposing in porcelain or ceramic sinks.

NOTE: Because dip ‘n etch requires submerging your project, the 4 oz size is for dipping jewelry and very small items only. To dip ‘n etch larger items, try the 16 oz or 32 oz bottles.

If you have questions about what size to order for the project you have in mind, email us at orders@etchall.com or call 623-933-4567.

etchall® etching crème

etchall® etching crème is a re-usable crème that produces a white opaque, permanent etched finish on glass, mirror, ceramic, porcelain, marble and slate. The creme is thick enough to etch designs with etchmask vinyl stencil – even on rounded and vertical surfaces! That’s right, you can even use etchall® on your doors and windows!

The Art and Craft Material Institute has approved etchall® etching creme to be used by children 12 years and older, children under 12 years can use etchall under the supervision of their parents. It conforms to ASTM-D4236.

  • Re-usable: Yes

Cautionetchall® etching crème will etch porcelain or ceramic sinks.

Note that etchall® CREME is ideal for etching matte DESIGNS on a glass (or similar) surface. For an ALL-OVER etch, make sure to also try etchall® dip ‘n etch.

etchall® etchmask Stencil ComboPak

etchall® etchmask is a glossy adhesive vinyl used for creating stencils for use with etchall® etching crème and etchall® dip ‘n etch! The etchmask™ transfer sheets are a high-tack paper used to keep the pieces of the stencil together when applying to a surface. This special pack combines both!

Set includes:

  • (4) 9” x 15” etchmask™ (Self-adhesive vinyl sheets)
  • (5) 9” x 12” Transfer Sheets (Protects cut pieces during stencil transfer)

etchall® Squeegee

The etchall® squeegee is a flexible T-shaped plastic tool used to apply etchall etchmask or pre-cut adhesive stencils to glass or mirror.

Once the stencil is in place, the squeegee is perfect for removing air bubbles. ALSO use the etchall squeegee to apply and smooth etchall etching crème across the surface to be etched. The squeegee is ideal for scraping the etchall etching crème back into the jar for re-use.

etchall® Detail Pick Tool

The etchall® Detail Pick Tool is a metal instrument with a small thin needle tip used for removing small intricate and hard to reach areas of your stencil; especially helpful for stencil letters and works for larger areas as well.

etchall® etchmask

etchall® etchmask is a glossy adhesive vinyl used when creating stencils.

It adheres to glass surfaces preventing etchall etching crème or etchall dip ‘n etch to slide underneath. This gives sharp lines and a smooth finish to the design. When using etchmask to cut your own stencil designs, please see our instructions for etchmask. Etchmask vinyl is also compatible with all digital craft cutters such as Silhouette SD, Cameo, Cricut, etc.

Create your own etching stencils using etchall etchmask and etchall transfer sheet. Think of a stencil as a sandwich, two pieces of bread and cheese in the middle. The top bread is the transfer sheet, the cheese is the etchmask and the other bread is the glossy sheet that the etchmask sticks to.

etchall® etchmask available in 2 sizes:

9” x 15” (8 sheets)   $19.99

12” x 15” (6 sheets)   $19.99

etchall® etchmask transfer sheets

etchmask™ transfer sheets are a high-tack paper used to keep the pieces of the stencil together when applying to a surface. After cutting the design on etchmask with the digital cutter, place transfer sheet on top of etchmask. This allows for the cut pieces to stay together.

etchall® Resist Gel

etchall® resist gel is a water-based gel that enables you to create your own unique designs without using a stencil.

etchall® resist gel forms a protective barrier against etchall® etching crème or etchall® dip ‘n etch. This barrier acts as a resist preventing the surface from being etched. etchall resist can be squeezed directly from the fine tip bottle, brushed evenly onto glass, or you can use the etchall designer pen tips. etchall resist gel appears opaque green when wet, but dries clear. Drying time depends on the thickness of application.

To draw a design, simply squeeze the etchall® resist onto a clean glass surface. This design, drawn with the etchall® resist gel, will be the un-etched portion of the glass; also known as the negative etch. Let the etchall resist gel dry completely and then apply etchall® etching crème as directed. Remove the etchall® etching crème according to the directions on the bottle, rinse under running water and peel the dry resist gel from the surface. Discard the used etchall® resist gel and rinse the object again.

You can use etchall® resist gel on flat, curved or uneven surfaces. etchall® resist gel appears opaque green when wet but dries clear. Drying time depends on the thickness of application.

etchall® Knife Combo

The etchall® knife combo contains:

  • stencil cut/pick knife
  • etchall swivel knife
  • 2 swivel knife replacement blades

All the great etchall® stencil tools combined in a plastic carrying case.

etchall® Stencil Cut/Pick Knife

The etchall® stencil cut/pick knife is used to remove a portion of the stencil in order to expose the surface to be etched. This process is known as picking or weeding because you selectively remove sections of the stencil.

This knife can also be used to cut a stencil or remove small areas left when using the swivel knife.

etchall® Swivel Knife & Replacement Blades

The etchall® swivel knife has a blade that rotates 360° allowing you to easily cut out stencils from etchall® etchmask or any self-adhesive paper or vinyl.

The etchall® swivel knife makes it easy to cut curves, circles, and round shapes within a stencil pattern. By using an etchall® swivel knife, you ensure that your stencil edges will be smooth and sharp. Hold the etchall® swivel knife vertically so that you only use the tip of the knife to cut out the design.

etchall® Tweezers

Etchall tweezers are ideal for use in conjunction with etchall stencil pick knife and etchall detail pick tool.

Use etchall tweezers to pull up small detailed pieces of a stencil or use to keep stencils down in intricate picking areas while pulling up fine details.
